Dr. Laila Marie Noll Doctor of Chiropractic & Owner
Dr. Laila opened Asula Wellness Center in 2006 as the culmination of an upbringing and schooling dedicated to the healing arts. Dr. Laila received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Creative Writing from the University of Iowa, then went on to pursue a degree in Chiropractic from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. “I always knew that I wanted to help people achieve optimal wellness on all levels. When I started Asula, I knew that it was the perfect union of all my interests and aspirations.”
Dr. Laila specializes in low force techniques such as activator method, cranial sacral, drop table, and myofascial release, as well as stronger interventions like diversified adjusting and graston technique. Her care is gentle but effective. She believes in the importance of strengthening after an injury and uses stabilization exercises to prevent reoccurrence of injury. She draws from yoga and pilates, in addition to more traditional physical therapy exercises. With two young children of her own and advanced training in cranial sacral technique, Dr. Laila has a specialty in pregnancy and postpartum care, as well as working with newborns and infants.
Another area of specialty for Dr. Laila is nutrition and functional medicine. Dr. Laila will work with patients to identify diet and lifestyle factors that can be contributing to their loss of well being. Factors such as inflammation, hormone balance, blood sugar instability, and digestive issues can all contribute to pain in the body, as well as impact how you feel on a daily basis.
Dr. Laila believes that good health means finding balance. “We all have different goals regarding our health. My job is to educate my patients and help them to achieve what is right for them.” In her free time she enjoys yoga, hiking and having adventures with her husband and two boys, Shea and Kian.
