Jenae Summerour Licensed Acupuncturist & LMT
Jenae Summerour started at Asula Wellness Center in 2016, as a licensed massage therapist and chiropractic assistant. Five years later, she graduated from The Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) with a Master’s Degree to practice acupuncture and herbal medicine. She believes in the value of an integrated healthcare system, and she feels blessed to work with such an amazing team at Asula.
Jenae works with her clients to identify obstacles that prevent optimal health. She subscribes to philosophies derived from the wisdom of ancient healing traditions, in addition to the innovations of modern science. Her treatment modalities include Chinese medicine therapies (like acupuncture, cupping, guasha, and herbal medicine), massage therapy, as well as nutritional and dietary optimization. Jenae’s focus is treating musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, managing stress-related health issues, complex symptoms deriving from chemo & radiation treatments, fertility & pregnancy support, and general wellness. “I make it my intention to connect with my patients – to allow each individual to be heard.”
Through her personal experiences and those of her patients, she sees that acupuncture can be transformative and the results long-lasting. When not at Asula, you can find Jenae spending time w/ family, delving deep into Chinese medicine books, practicing Qigong, exploring the outdoors, and enjoying the beautiful PNW where she grew up.
